Jane Pascoe physiotherapist in Falmouth

Jane Pascoe is a physiotherapist in Falmouth, Cornwall, UK. Qualifying as a Chartered Physiotherapist at the Middlesex Hospital London in 1982 Jane Pascoe continued in London working at Queen Mary’s Hospital Roehampton where her interest in outpatient treatment quickly took hold. Working as a physio with amputees at Roehampton, and then with spinal injuries patients in Canada, brought further interest in anatomy and how best to encourage it to work better. The call of the West brought Jane back home to Falmouth. Initially she worked in a number of community hospitals gaining further outpatient experience while attending courses relevant to her physiotherapy practice all over the UK.

Her skill base was founded and continues to be built on. Throughout her career Jane has never wavered from the basic principle that physiotherapy helps people affected by injury, illness or disability through movement and exercise, manual therapy, education and advice. Dispelling fear and replacing it with an optimistic and hopeful outlook is key to her practice. When not working Jane can be found walking the dog, sailing, playing tennis or cooking.
